also I was thinking that I’d love to do the RoTG masquerade/fancy clothing there as a group, we’d just need someone to be North and someone to be Jack.
this’d be like years from now though when Even’s finished his degree and we actually have $2000 to spend on a HOBBY THAT TAKES US TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE COUNTRY
and then there’s the worry of who to take with us, ‘cause we’d only want four or five people so it’s easier to manage
Even and I just calculated that a trip to San Diego Comic Con for a group of four people from Ottawa would cost an estimated $2030.
This includes the weekend pass, five day hotel room, round-trip flight, food (est. $15/person), any merch purchases, and the general expensive cost of a good cosplay.
Now let’s calculate renting a campervan and driving across the country.
EDIT: If we drove down to New York and took a flight from there (because it’s cheaper to fly around in the states) it comes to $1830 per person.
